Lovecraftian Horror Title ‘The Order Of The Snake Scale’ Now on Xbox, Coming to PlayStation and Switch [Trailer]

FM Simple Games Studio’s Lovecraftian Survival Horror title The Order Of The Snake Scale is coming to consoles. Previously released to Steam last year, the dystopian open world title is now available on Xbox One and the Xbox Series, with releases on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch coming September 25.

Inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, The Order Of The Snake Scale is a surreal survival horror set in an alternate universe, where power over humanity is exercised by Unions of States and Corporations. The prohibition of religion, mass sterilization, the appropriation of people’s property, eugenics, the subjugation of humanity to the NML Corporation, this is the new world order.

Players take on the role of a detective investigating the mysterious death of a woman in the town of Happy Rock. As you work to solve the Happy Rock case, you will learn about the history of the Universe, and its inhabitants. However, it’s also easy to die in this world, particularly in the least expected moments. Along with gathering clues for the case, you’ll need to stock up your inventory, fight, make decisions and most importantly, survive.

Sporting a control scheme and mechanics that pay tribute to classic horror games of the past, gameplay includes the aforementioned combat and resource collecting, but also solving logic puzzles as well as platforming, and various interactions with the environment.
