Jordan Peele’s Untitled Fourth Movie Has Been Pulled from October 2026 Release

While we wait for the Jordan Peele-produced, Justin Tipping-directed horror movie HIM to release in theaters this month, we’ve unfortunately learned that Peele’s own fourth movie has been bumped off the Universal release calendar. The untitled film had been set for theatrical release on October 23, 2026, but Variety reports this week that that’s no longer the plan.
The website reports, “Peele is currently at work on the film, which has yet to roll cameras, an individual familiar with the project told Variety.” Stay tuned for more as we learn it.
As you may recall, the original date for Peele’s fourth movie when it was first announced was December 25, 2024, a date that was ultimately occupied by Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu.
Jordan Peele burst onto the filmmaking scene back in 2017 with critical acclaim, box office success, and even a huge win at the Academy Awards, making Get Out one of the most promising debut features in the history of the horror genre. Peele proved he was the real deal with Us in 2019 and later Nope in 2022, so his fourth movie is a hotly anticipated project.
At this time we have no idea what to expect from Jordan Peele’s fourth movie, but we’re holding out hope that it will once again see Peele playing around in the horror space.
In addition to his directing work, Jordan Peele has spent the past several years producing a handful of projects. Those projects include the films BlacKkKlansman, Candyman (2021), and Wendell & Wild, as well as the TV shows “The Twilight Zone” and “Lovecraft Country.”
