Stern Pinball Celebrates ‘Jaws’ 50th Anniversary with New Pinball Machine Launch at SDCC

Stern Pinball, Inc., in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, has announced that they’re wading into the waters for Jaws’ 50th Anniversary with a new pinball machine: JAWS 50th Anniversary Premium Edition.

The new machine will be playable for the first time at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 from July 24 – 27 at the Stern Pinball pop-up arcade, located at Marriott Marquis Hotel. 

It features a reimagined playfield with glitter-enhanced artwork and brass powder-coated wireform ramps. This collector’s item also boasts a distinctive 50th Anniversary hologram sticker along with a unique translite and cabinet decals. The pinball machine is outfitted with a bold “Blood Red” armor kit, including matching legs, hinges, front molding, and side armor with standard premium shape.

The new machine comes with a premium price tag, though, with an MSRP of $US 9,699.

Stern Pinball, Inc. is also bringing new content enhancements available across all connected Jaws-inspired machines, creating an updated code with new features, including Team Play and Co-op, where players can collaboratively play with friends, share progress, and more.

JAWS 50th Anniversary Premium Edition, along with existing Jaws Limited Edition games, Premium Edition games, Pro Edition games, and accessories, are available through authorized Stern Pinball distributors and dealers around the world, found here or on the official Stern Store here. 

What else can you expect for the JAWS 50th anniversary this Summer? A new documentary titled Jaws at 50: The Definitive Inside Story comes to National Geographic on July 10, followed by Hulu and Disney+ on July 11, while you can now grab JAWS on 50th Anniversary 4K Ultra HD. Special events will also be taking place on Martha’s Vineyard all Summer long.
