Garden of Eden will be unleashed digitally on June 20 via Gravitas Ventures, with a Blu-ray and DVD release to follow.

Pray for your sins with Bloody Disgusting’s exclusive first look at the gory film’s trailer and posters below.

The press release eloquently describes the movie: “Think ‘American Horror Story‘ if it had a kinky and debaucherous fetish filled three-way with Martyrs and Hostel in a church pew.”

The Eden family are devout Christians who do everything they can to live the word of God and set an example of what is right and wrong. They have been very successful in business and are rich beyond their needs. In order to give back, the family throws garden parties. Each guest that is lucky enough to find a key at the party gets to have their most wished for dream come true. But a dream for some can be a nightmare for others.

Marcel Walz (Blood Feast, Blind) directs from a script by frequent collaborator Joe Knetter (Blind, Twilight of the Dead), taking an artistic approach to “torture porn” with special effects by Vincent J. Guastini (Dogma, Requiem for a Dream).

Robert Rusler (A Nightmare on Elm Street 2), Monique Parent (Cuck), Sarah French (Blind), and Sarah Polednak star as the Eden Family alongside Gigi Gustin (The Retaliators), Sarah Nicklin (Popeye The Slayer Man), Jazz Egger, Adam Bucci (“Halt and Catch Fire”), and Dazelle Yvette.

“My heart was full of joy after finishing Garden of Eden,” Walz tells Bloody Disgusting. “This was a such wonderful experience for me, seeing this cast and crew putting so much love and beauty into a movie with so many disturbing and controversial scenes. We created something special. It’s truly an art film.”

“There were moments while filming where we questioned whether we were going too far,” adds Knetter. “Especially when some of the crew were grossed out and feeling sick. But it isn’t exploitation. Everything serves the story. In the end, there’s beauty in the brutality. We want the audience to think about what they’ve seen and what it means. With that being said… it’s pretty fucked up and the gorehounds will eat it up.”
