‘The Toxic Avenger: The Art and Making of the Movie’ to Be Published in November

After seeing The Toxic Avenger in theaters on August 29, you’re going to want to know how the bonkers film came to be. The Toxic Avenger: The Art and Making of the Movie will answer your questions on November 11.

The hardcover book highlights concept designs and production art, alongside insight from writer-director Macon Blair, cast, crew, and producers of the fresh take on Troma’s 1984 cult classic.

Written by Empire magazine’s Dan Jolin and published by Titan Books, the 160-page tome feature a glow-in-the-dark cover.

It will pair perfectly The Toxic Avenger: The Official Movie Novelization by Adam Cesare (Clown in a Cornfield), which comes out on September 2.

In the superhero horror-comedy, downtrodden janitor Winston Gooze is exposed to a catastrophic toxic accident, transforming him into a mutant vigilante.
