Co-op Survival Horror Title ‘Whisper Mountain Outbreak’ Out Now in Early Access [Trailer]

The wait was a long one, but Toge Productions’ Whisper Mountain Outbreak is out now in Early Access on Steam. And for those undecided, you can download the Friend’s Pass to join a full co-op session without owning the main game.
Expected to remain in Early Access for a year, the PvE co-op title is already fully playable in both single-player and co-op modes, with a “solid foundation” of content for players. Throughout the Early Access period, the developers aim to add meta progression, and pretty much more of everything: player customization, story elements, upgrades, equipment, enemies, scenarios, mission types and levels.
The story for Whisper Mountain Outbreak takes place in 1998, where a mining operation on Mt. Bisik has inadvertently unleashed an ancient horror after the crew disturbed a ruin buried deep inside the mountain. Soon, people in the town started hearing whispers and seeing monsters when a mysterious fog suddenly appeared and covered the area surrounding the mountain. As a member of the Bureau of Research and Investigation of Metaphysics (B.R.I.M.), you and your fellow agents have been assigned to solve the outbreak behind the mining operation.
Gameplay is similar to a Horde Mode, where monsters will come in waves. At the start of each run, you’ll choose from three random classes (out of six total), with each class having unique perks and skills. You’ll need to fight off the monsters using a variety of melee and ranged weapons, use herbs to recover your health, as well as protect each other’s backs. You and your team will also need to work together to solve puzzles, find keys and unlock doors, and just figure out a way to escape the curse.
