Sci-Fi Horror Roguelite FPS ‘Deadzone: Rogue’ Out Now on Steam; Console Demos Now Available [Trailer]

After toiling away in Early Access for the past few months, Prophecy Games’ roguelite shooter Deadzone: Rogue has hit version 1.0, and is now out of Early Access on Steam. In addition, demos for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of Deadzone: Rogue are also now available.
The story sees you waking up aboard the ISS-X, with no memory of who you are. There’s a variety of biomechanical machines, zombies and other monsters closing in on you fast. You’ll need to arm yourself from an array of 30 powerful weapons, each modifiable with elemental affixes and upgrades. Go at it alone or with up to 3 other players. You’ll start each new battle cloaked in stealth. From there, you’ll need to scout enemies out and decide on your course of attack before engaging them in combat.
The full release of Deadzone: Rogue launches with its Zone 3 update, which the developers state is the largest ever content update for the game. The update adds 20 new enemies with a huge range of abilities, two unique mini-bosses, and a large-scale boss encounter. A new ‘synergy’ system also has been released, with over 40 options to enhance players’ builds, and two new elements, Psionic and Plasma have been introduced.
And since Deadzone: Rogue is out of Early Access, you can now spring for the Deluxe Edition, which is available now with a 10% until August 25. The Deluxe Edition includes the base game, the Operative Pack DLC which features new cosmetics, and the 15-track OST.
If that’s not enough, Prophecy Games is working away at the free Zone 4 update, which is scheduled to arrive in 2026.
