‘I Saw the TV Glow’ Celebrates First Anniversary with VHS Release from A24

A24 is commemorating the one-year anniversary of I Saw the TV Glow with new merchandise including the the film on VHS!

Written and directed by Jane Schoenbrun (We’re All Going to the World’s Fair), the coming-of-age existential horror film is presented on VHS in letterbox format.

The tape is housed in a sleeve designed by Matthew Dix and comes with four collectible cards (three base cards and one random foil). Priced at $40, it will ship by June 27.

Other I Saw the TV Glow products up for grabs include a Pink Opaque candle ($48), T-shirts ($40), a hat ($35), and a set of two enamel pins ($18).

In the film, Owen is trying to make it through life in the suburbs when his classmate introduces him to a mysterious late-night TV show — a vision of a supernatural world beneath their own. In the pale glow of the television, Owen’s view of reality begins to crack

Justice Smith and Jack Haven star with Helena Howard, Lindsey Jordan, Conner O’Malley, Emma Portner, Ian Foreman, Fred Durst, and Danielle Deadwyler.

Schoenbrun is currently working on their follow-up, Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma.
