Co-op Stealth Extraction Horror Title ‘Macabre’ Enters Steam Early Access on September 29 [Trailer]

Weforge Studio’s Macabre has been a long time coming, but the co-op stealth extraction horror title will arrive later this month in Steam Early Access. Launching into the service on September 29, the announcement was accompanied by a new trailer, showcasing the game’s procedural survival gameplay.
“With Early Access, we want to refine Macabre alongside players,” says Jake Davey, Macabre Game Director. “The adaptive AI, procedural systems, and high-stakes co-op are built to surprise, but this launch is just the beginning. We will expand with new maps, monsters, and mechanics guided by community feedback.”
Set inside a collapsing time rift, Macabre pits squads of up to four players against an adaptive interdimensional terror known as Macabre that learns from their actions. Guided by the enigmatic NPC Banjo, players scavenge, sneak, and fight to survive in an unstable dimension where every session unfolds differently. Every run is a gamble. To keep what you have scavenged, you must reach the Extract alive. If you die, you lose everything.
While avoiding Macabre, you will scavenge powerful artefacts and strange items from fractured timelines. Every piece of loot matters. The right equipment can reveal hidden truths, distract the monster or help you survive long enough to escape.
