‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Trailer – Pop Stars Slay Demonic Boy Band in Netflix Animated Film

From Sony Pictures Animation (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Hotel Transylvania), KPop Demon Hunters is now streaming on Netflix.

When Korean pop superstars Rumi, Mira, and Zoey aren’t selling out stadiums, they’re using their secret identities as demon hunters to protect their fans from ever-present supernatural danger. Together, they must face their biggest threat — an irresistible rival boy band of demons in disguise.

The animated film is directed by Chris Appelhans (Wish Dragon) and Maggie Kang from a script they co-wrote with Danya Jimenez and Hannah McMechan.

Arden Cho, Ahn Hyo-seop, May Hong, Ji-young Yoo, Yunjin Kim, Joel Kim Booster, Liza Koshy, Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Jeong, and Byung Hun Lee star.

The film features “Takedown,” a new song performed by Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung of the KPop group Twice, which is streaming below alongside the trailer.
