New ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ Poster Features Cast & the Fisherman

You get the ending you deserve with the new poster for I Know What You Did Last Summer, which harkens back to the artwork for the 1997 original.
The legacy sequel sinks its hook into theaters on July 18 from Sony.
Madelyn Cline (“Outer Banks”), Chase Sui Wonders (Bodies Bodies Bodies), Jonah Hauer-King (The Little Mermaid), Tyriq Withers (Him), and Sarah Pidgeon (“The Wilds”) lead the new cast, with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. reprising their roles as Julie James and Ray Bronson.
When five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences. A year later, their past comes back to haunt them and they’re forced to confront a horrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer…and is hell-bent on revenge.
As one by one the friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.
Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Do Revenge) directs from a script she co-wrote the script with Sam Lansky, based on a story by Robinson and Leah McKendrick (M.F.A.).
Billy Campbell (The Rocketeer), musician/model Gabbriette Bechtel, Austin Nichols (“The Walking Dead”), Lola Tung (“The Summer I Turned Pretty”), and Nicholas Alexander Chavez (“Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story”) round out the cast.
Original I Know What You Did Last Summer producer Neal H. Moritz returns to produce. Robinson executive produces alongside Jackie Shenoo (The Boy, Red Rocket) and Karina Rahardja (Sonic the Hedgehog, Escape Room).
