Slot Machine Roguelite Horror Title ‘CloverPit’ Launches September 3 [Trailer]

The “demonic lovechild of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette” in Panik Arcade and publisher Future Friends Games’ CloverPit has a release date. The slot machine roguelite horror game will arrive September 3 for PC via Steam. The demo is still very much available for those who want to get their “try before you buy” fix.

CloverPit sees you trapped in a hell of your own creation. You are locked in a rusty cell with a slot machine and an ATM, you must pay off your debt at the end of each round, or end up falling to your doom. Luckily, you can manipulate the slot machine to earn extra coins, as well as turn the odds in your favor with various prizes and charms that trigger big combos that can set you off on a lucky run.

Seeing as this is a roguelite, you can earn unlockable run modifiers and 150+ power-ups to help you work towards one of the multiple endings for CloverPit. And once you’ve polished off the story, you can always push to get the high score in the game’s Endless Mode.

The developers stress that CloverPit is a roguelite horror game, and not a slot machine simulator. The slot machine is designed to be broken and ultimately overcome, and will never ask you for real money.
