‘Vikings: Valhalla’ Actress Hayat Kamille Joins Lee Cronin’s ‘The Mummy’

Lee Cronin‘s The Mummy wrapped production a couple weeks ago, but Deadline just learned that Hayat Kamille (“Vikings: Valhalla”) is part of the cast.
Jack Reynor (Midsommar) and Laia Costa (“The Wheel of Time”) star in the fresh take on the classic monster, opening April 17, 2026 via Warner Bros.
May Calamawy (“Moon Knight”), Veronica Falcón (“Ozark”), May Elghety (Clash), Natalie Grace (“1923”), Shylo Molina (“The Afterparty”), and Billie Roy (Spirit Halloween: The Movie) round out the cast.
Cronin directs from his own script, reuniting with Evil Dead Rise director of photography David Garbett.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but Cronin previously said, “This will be unlike any Mummy movie you ever laid eyeballs on before. I’m digging deep into the earth to raise something very ancient and very frightening.”
The project is the first under the recent Blumhouse-Atomic Monster merger, with the companies producing and co-financing for New Line Cinema. James Wan, Jason Blum, and John Keville are producing alongside Cronin under his Doppelgängers banner.
