Aniplex announced that their upcoming mobile RTS title Resident Evil Survival Unit has now surpassed one million in pre-registrations since the game was announced last month. The total includes combined numbers from the App Store and Google Play, though specific regional breakdowns in sign-ups across Japan, Korea, North America, Europe, and other regions in Asia aren’t available.

As a result of the one million sign-ups, all of the pre-registration bonuses have been unlocked for when the game launches later this year. The bonuses will be sent to players once the game launches, and includes two different types of flare gun, a new base skin, 1000 gems, and more.

Featuring a new storyline that diverges from the series’ Survival Horror origins, Resident Evil Survival Unit sees players awaken in a mysterious hospital, a test subject of the latest experiments by the Umbrella Corporation. As you uncover the truth and attempt to escape, the story unfolds into a parallel world where you meet up with familiar faces from the main series. Those faces include Resident Evil mainstays Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine and more.

Your central base of operations takes place inside a large mansion, which you build up and customize to plan your next mission. You’ll be purchasing weapons and items from Resident Evil 4‘s Weapons Merchant, as well as crafting and building your team. Each character on your team will feature unique skill sets and traits, allowing for “diverse tactical combinations.”
