‘The Green Mile’ Actor Graham Greene Has Passed Away

Canadian First Nations actor Graham Greene passed away yesterday after a long illness. He was 73.
He achieved international recognition for his role as Kicking Bird in Dances with Wolves, which earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
Greene’s genre credits include The Green Mile, Antlers, Twilight: New Moon, and Clearcut, as well as episodes of “The Last of Us,” “The Outer Limits,” “American Gods,” and “Riverdale.”
He also had notable roles in Die Hard with a Vengeance, Wind River, Molly’s Game, Maverick, Winter’s Tale, “1883,” “Tulsa King,” and Red Dead Redemption II.
Greene’s other accolades include a Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album for Children for Listen to the Storyteller, being appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in the 2015 Canadian honours, and earning a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame.
