‘Terminator 2D: NO FATE’ Pushed to October 31 Release

It’ll unfortunately be a little while longer before players get their hands on Reef Entertainment and Bitmap Bureau’s Terminator 2D: NO FATE. Originally set to launch in September, the publisher has announced that the sidescrolling shooter will instead launch on Halloween.
In a new press release, Reef Entertainment explains that coordinating and manufacturing the physical release of the game has taken longer than anticipated. As a result, the decision was made to move the launch from its original September 5th release for the physical and digital releases. The silver lining to this delay, however, will give the team at Bitmap Bureau “extra time to apply some final polish to the game” to give players the best version of the game.
“From the moment we announced Terminator 2D: NO FATE, the response has been absolutely amazing and truly humbling,” says Reef Entertainment. “So, to all of you, thank you so much for your support. We know that this news is disappointing and we appreciate your understanding. We are dedicated to delivering the best release possible for Terminator 2D: NO FATE, and we look forward to sharing more of the game with you soon.”
Described as a love letter to 80s/90s arcade games, Terminator 2D: NO FATE blends iconic scenes from Terminator 2: Judgment Day with original scenarios and multiple endings. You play as Sarah Connor and the T-800 through a variety of missions as you take on the T-1000 and try to put a stop to Skynet’s plans before the human race is annihilated. Players will also lead the Resistance as John Connor in the future, fighting on the front lines as mankind’s only hope in the war against the machines.
Terminator 2D: NO FATE is currently in development for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders for the physical collector’s editions are now available.
