‘Haunted Hotel’ – Check Into Netflix’s Ghostly Animated Comedy Series in September

Book your reservation for “Haunted Hotel,” opening its doors September 19 on Netflix.
It centers on a single mother of two who struggles to run the Undervale, a hotel that happens to be haunted. Luckily, she has some help from her estranged brother… who is now one of the ghosts and thinks his fellow phantoms have some pretty good ideas.
The adult animated paranormal comedy series is created by Matt Roller (“Rick and Morty,” “Community,” “The Goldbergs”), who also serves as showrunner.
The voice cast includes Will Forte (“Saturday Night Live”), Eliza Coupe (“Happy Endings”), Skyler Gisondo (“The Righteous Gemstones”), Natalie Palamides (“The Powerpuff Girls”), and Jimmi Simpson (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”).
Titmouse (“Big Mouth,” “The Venture Bros,”) as the animation studio behind the project. Erica Hayes (“Rick and Morty,” “Carol & the End of the World”) serves as supervising director.
Roller executive produces alongside Chris McKenna (Spider-Man: No Way Home, “Community”), Dan Harmon (“Rick and Morty,” “Community”), and Steve Levy (“Rick and Morty,” “Community”).
“I’m thrilled to be working with Netflix and an amazingly talented cast and crew to bring to life the stories of the dead, the evil, and the struggling hospitality workers at the Undervale Hotel,” Roller said in a statement.
“’Haunted Hotel’ is wildly inventive and I’m very grateful to Matt, Chris, Dan, and their team for bringing their talents to Netflix,” adds Netflix Director of Adult Animation Billy Wee. “They are phenomenal collaborators and I can’t wait for fans all over the world to experience this hilarious show.”
Roller sold “Haunted Hotel” (originally titled “The Undervale”) to Netflix in a highly competitive auction and landed a straight-to-series order.
