Remedy Unveils Game Overview Trailer for ‘FBC: Firebreak’, Details First Post Launch Content [Video]

Along with releasing a new Game Overview trailer and a new Community Video for FBC: Firebreak ahead of its launch, developer Remedy has also unveiled the post-launch roadmap for the three-player co-op FPS. The first post-launch content is set to launch later this fall, and includes free and paid-for content.
With the new Gameplay Overview trailer, players are taken through everything they need to know to jump into the game. Meanwhile, the Community Video gives players a detailed look at what Firebreakers do in the field in this “systems led” game, how missions are structured, and how players will shape their playstyle with paranatural tools. That includes tailoring the challenge of the Job to customizing a loadout and surviving unpredictable Corrupted Items, offering the best look yet at what it means to step into the Firebreak Initiative.
As for the first post-launch content, codenamed “Outbreak”, players can expect a new Jobsite in the Research Sector, new gameplay systems and enemies, and a new paid-for Classified Resquisition that includes unique armor, sprays, skins and more. As Remedy has mentioned previously, none of these paid items will affect gameplay.
FBC: Firebreak launches June 17 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5 for $39.99 USD, as well as day one via PC Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, and PlayStation Plus Game Catalog (Extra and Premium). A Deluxe Edition is also available for pre-order.
