New Nell’s Diner Map Revealed for ‘Phasmophobia’; Reworked Farmhouse Coming August 12

Kinetic Games has dropped news regarding the next update for Phasmophobia. In the latest Development Preview blog entry, the devs revealed a new map in Nell’s Diner, as well dropping details on when fans can expect the reworked Grafton Farmhouse.

For starters, the Grafton Farmhouse, which is the second reworked map after the Bleasdale Map earlier this year, will be launching on August 12th for all platforms. Now home to the aftermath of something truly harrowing, players conducting investigations will encounter a layout that, while feeling wholly familiar, offers a ton of new experiences as well as a brand new attic space, new interactions and more.

To celebrate the map’s relaunch, players can get an early sneak-peek at the map via preview streams taking place today and tomorrow. Kinetic Games is also offering up a new round of Twitch Drops, which will be available in both a foil/animated format as well as a standard format:

August 7th – August 8th: Animated ID card and badge available by watching 1 hour of Kinetic Games Partner streams.
August 12th – August 26th: Standard reward campaign available to all Twitch streamers playing Phasmophobia.

As for Nell’s Diner, which was inspired by classic American diners, this map is slightly larger than 6 Tanglewood Drive. With the map’s size, the team aimed to “create a more focused but dense experience” for players. Nell’s Diner consists of 13 unique rooms, 11 of which will be possible ghost rooms. Throughout, players will be able to find a host of new interactable objects, plenty of looping spots as well as spaces to hide from the ghost during a hunt.

While no date has been announced for the new map to arrive, Kinetic Games is aiming to have it out later this year.

Phasmophobia is available now on PC via Steam (with a limited-time 25% discount until August 14), PlayStation 5 and PS VR2, and the Xbox Series.
