The sixth installment in the franchise that began 25 years ago, Final Destination Bloodlines continues to be a box office juggernaut in its third week of release, placing in the #4 spot on the domestic box office charts this past weekend. With another $10 million added to its total, Bloodlines has now scared up $111 million at the box office here in the United States.
Worldwide, Final Destination Bloodlines is currently sitting at $229.3 million, making it not only the franchise’s all-time highest grossing installment but also the only movie in the Final Destination saga to hit that massive $200 million milestone at the box office!
For the sake of comparison, here are the franchise’s total worldwide numbers:
- Final Destination (2000) – $112.8 million
- Final Destination 2 (2003) – $90.9 million

The newest chapter in New Line Cinema’s hit franchise is said to “take audiences back to the very beginning.” In the brand new sequel, “Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.”
At this point, Final Destination 7 is all but guaranteed. Stay tuned…
