‘Angst’ 4K Trailer – ’80s Extreme Horror Film Invades 4K UHD from Umbrella Entertainment [Exclusive]

Controversial home invasion horror film Angst will make its 4K Ultra HD debut on October 21 from Australia’s Umbrella Entertainment.

If you can stomach a rendezvous with death, watch the exclusive trailer below. The newly restored footage has been utilized to faithfully recreate a vintage preview.

Loosely based on real-life mass murderer Werner Kniesek, the 1983 Austrian movie has been restored in 4K, approved by director Gerald Kargl, with Dolby Vision HDR.

Erwin Leder (Underworld) stars as K, recently released from prison for murder. He quickly begins to feel the need to kill again, launching a sadistic spiral into chaos as K embarks on a murderous spree in rural Austria.

Meagan Navarro wrote in a retrospective article, “In 1983, Angst was way ahead of its time, and even today there’s still no other home invasion horror quite like it.”
