Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Ted Levine (The Silence of the Lambs), and Margarita Levieva (“Daredevil: Born Again”) have been cast in major recurring roles on Apple TV+’s “Cape Fear,” Deadline reports.
From executive producers Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg, the 10-episode series is now in production.

A storm is coming for happily married attorneys Anna (Adams) and Tom Bowden (Wilson) when Max Cady (Bardem), a notorious killer from their past, gets out of prison.
The show is based on both John D. MacDonald‘s 1957 novel The Executioners, which was adapted into 1962’s Cape Fear starring Gregory Peck, and Scorsese’s 1991 remake with Robert De Niro.
“Channel Zero” and “Brand New Cherry Flavor” creator Nick Antosca serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer. Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game, Passengers) is directing the pilot and executive producing.
CCH Pounder (“The Shield”), Malia Pyles (“Pretty Little Liars”), Anna Baryshnikov (Love Lies Bleeding), Jamie Hector (“The Wire”), Lily Collias (Good One), and Joe Anders (1917) round out the cast.
UCP, where Antosca and his Eat the Cat banner are under an overall deal, is producing alongside Amblin Television.
