Another DOOM soundtrack is getting the love from Laced Records. Bethesda Softworks has teamed with Laced Records to bring the DOOM: The Dark Ages soundtrack by Finishing Move to vinyl and CD. The release will also have two exclusive colour variants available via the Laced Records store and the Bethesda Gear Store.

Expected to ship this October, pre-orders are open now for a 4LP box set containing all 35 tracks from the DOOM: The Dark Ages original soundtrack, and a double LP set containing 17 tracks curated by the game’s composers. Two exclusive colour variants for the 2LP and 4LP box sets are also available: the Laced-exclusive sets contain red and black marble effect heavyweight LPs, while the Bethesda Gear Store exclusives contain translucent red heavyweight LPs.

The 4LP set features dual rigid board outer slipcase, inner slipcase with debossed Slayer symbol and spined inner sleeves, with artwork by id Software and Grzegorz Domaradzki. Meanwhile, the 2LP set features the same artwork, but with a widespined outer sleeve and printed inner sleeves.

Pre-orders are also open for a 35-track double CD presented in a deluxe triple gatefold sleeve.

“There was a real weight of expectation stepping into such an iconic franchise,” explains Finishing Move. “But rather than get overwhelmed by it, we focused on what felt right. What we, along with the incredibly creative team at id, believed this game needed. We approached it with the same spirit of innovation that defines DOOM, aiming to honour its legacy while forging a new identity.”

Also available from Laced Records is the original soundtrack to 2016’s DOOM by Mick Gordon. You can check out what’s available from Laced Records’ DOOM collection.

DOOM: The Dark Ages (which Aaron reviewed last month) is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and the PC via Steam.
