Dave Franco & Alison Brie Talk ‘Together’ with Rats: “‘The Thing’ Was Our North Star”

Dave Franco and Alison Brie discuss Together while playing with rats in the video below, where you’ll also find a new poster for the film.
The real-life spouses talk about their love for making and watching horror, including the influence that The Thing and The Substance had on their cosmic body horror movie.
Years into their relationship, Tim and Millie find themselves at a crossroads as they move to the country, abandoning all that is familiar in their lives except each other. With tensions already flaring, a nightmarish encounter with a mysterious, unnatural foe threatens to corrupt their lives, their love, and their flesh.
Writer-director Michael Shanks makes his feature debut on the movie, which also features Damon Herriman, Sunny S. Walia, Jack Kenny, and Mia Morrissey.
Meagan Navarro wrote in her review out of Sundance, “Its unique blend of awkward romantic dramedy and cosmic body horror yields no shortage of crowd-pleasing moments and horror freakouts that left the rowdy Sundance audience laughing and screaming in equal measure.”
Together is in theaters now from Neon.
