‘Suspiria’ Posters by Luana Vecchio On Sale Now at Mutant

Mutant has released a poster for Dario Argento‘s Suspiria by Italian comic book artist Luana Vecchio.

The 18×24 screen print is limited to 85 for $50. A pink variant, limited to 60, is also available for $60.

Mutant writes, “We’re excited to celebrate this waking nightmare of a film with a gorgeous new poster by Italian artist Luana Vecchio. Like the film, Luana is masterful at combining horror and beauty to stunning result, framing Suzy in the sights of Helena Markos and her coven. We’ve been fans of Luana’s comics work for some time, and are proud to team up to create a screenprint for one of the best Italian horror films ever made.”

“Dream come true,” Vecchio comments. “I created a limited edition Suspiria poster for folks at Mutant. You all know how much cinema means to me, and how proud I am of the legacy my country brought to this art form. This one feels really special!”

Written by Argento and Daria Nicolodi, the 1977 Italian horror classic follows an American newcomer to a prestigious European ballet academy which she comes to realize is a front for something sinister amid a series of grisly murders.

Jessica Harper stars with Stefania Casini, Flavio Bucci, Miguel Bosé, Barbara Magnolfi, Susanna Javicoli, Eva Axén, Alida Valli, Udo Kier, and Joan Bennett.
