‘Jaws Goes to the Bahamas’ Teaser – Lance Guest Talks ‘Jaws: The Revenge’ in Documentary

Jaws: The Revenge quickly became a cinematic punchline, but Jaws Goes to the Bahamas aims to celebrate the maligned sequel 40 years later.
Currently in production, a teaser trailer for the documentary can be viewed below via Voight-Kampff Productions.
Star Lance Guest and underwater camera operator Pete Romano have already been interviewed, along with Sharknado filmmaker Anthony C. Ferrante, A Christmas Story actor Ian Petrella, and more.
Directed by Mike Gencarelli, Jaws Goes to the Bahamas is aiming for a Summer 2027 release — marking the 40th anniversary of the 1987 film’s debut.
An Indiegogo campaign is underway to secure funding. Perks range from physical copies and signed posters to producer credits and appearances in the movie.
The team has already raised over $8,000. When they hit $10,000, they’ll take the shoot to Martha’s Vineyard to visit where the opening scene was shot. If they reach $20,000, they’ll head to the Bahamas to explore the rest of the filming locations.
Directed by Joseph Sargent (The Taking of Pelham One Two Three), the fourth and final Jaws film follows Chief Brody’s widow and marine biologist son to the Bahamas where they’re targeted by a great white shark.
Lorraine Gary reprises her role as Ellen Brody, starring alongside Lance Guest, Mario Van Peebles, Karen Young, and Michael Caine.
