‘The Long Walk’ – New Trailer Previews a Harrowing Nightmare from the Mind of Stephen King

Fresh out of San Diego Comic-Con tonight, the brand new trailer for Stephen King adaptation The Long Walk has shambled its way online. Watch Official Trailer 2 down below.

Based on Stephen King’s 1979 novel of the same name, The Long Walk arrives in theaters on September 12 from Lionsgate. Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend, Constantine) directed.

The story follows Raymond Garraty, a 16-year old who takes part in an annual contest in which 100 teens must journey, nonstop and under strict rules, until only one is left alive.

JT Mollner (Strange Darling) wrote the film’s screenplay.

Cooper Hoffman (Licorice Pizza), David Jonsson (Alien: Romulus), Garrett Wareing (“Manifest”), Tut Nyout (“Witcher: Blood Origin”), Charlie Plummer (The Clovehitch Killer), Ben Wang (Karate Kid: Legends), Roman Griffin Davis (Jojo Rabbit), Jordan Gonzalez (“Pretty Little Liars: Origin Sin”), Joshua Odjick (Welcome to Derry), Josh Hamilton (“Walking Dead”), Judy Greer (Halloween), and Mark Hamill (The Life of Chuck) star.

Roy Lee (IT, Doctor Sleep), Steven Schneider (Insidious, Paranormal Activity), and Cameron MacConomy (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes) produce.
