Mutant Celebrates Shudder10 With Poster Series That Includes Haunting New ‘The Devil’s Bath’ Art [Exclusive]

Mutant is joining Shudder’s 10th Anniversary festivities with a special 10-poster series that pairs talented artists with some of the streaming service’s most memorable horror titles.
We have an exclusive peek at one of the ten new posters included in the Shudder10 lineup: artist Mark McCoy’s haunting poster for Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala’s The Devil’s Bath.
Shot on 35mm, The Devil’s Bath is based on historical records and follows a woman who finds herself giving in to evil thoughts in 18th-century Austria. The film was selected as Austria’s Academy Award submission.
Here’s the official plot synopsis for the German-language horror movie: “In 1750 Austria, a deeply religious woman named Agnes has just married her beloved, but her mind and heart soon grow heavy as her life becomes a long list of chores and expectations. Day after day, she is increasingly trapped in a murky and lonely path leading to evil thoughts, until the possibility of committing a shocking act of violence seems like the only way out of her inner prison.”
Anja Plaschg, David Scheid, Maria Hofstätter, Camilla Schielin, and Lorenz Tröbinger star.
As for the special Shudder10 poster release, Mark McCoy’s poster will go on sale November 13 at MadebyMutant.com, with a limited run of only 70 prints. Details below:
