New Gameplay Trailer and Demo Released for ‘Shadow Project’ [Watch]

SK Studios has followed up the March reveal of their story-driven tactical FPS Shadow Project with a new demo for the game on Steam, featuring two full levels with around an hour of gameplay. In addition, Orphic has revealed a new gameplay trailer, showcasing new and old elements, but in a much more polished, final form from the original announcement trailer.
The game takes place in the year 1990, nearing the end of the Cold War between the USSR and the United States. However, rumors describing large-scale unethical human experimentation in the USSR have been circulating for several months, but were recently given confirmation from a Soviet defector, who has exposed the truth about Shadow Project. The Soviet Union has established installations across its territory with the intended purpose of developing humans and animals into machines of war. You are part of an American team that has been tasked with taking down these Soviet military facilities suspected of housing Shadow Project laboratories.
Your mission will take you across a range of biomes, from dense and lush forests and desolate abandoned villages, to snow capped mountains. You’ll be armed with an arsenal of historically accurate weaponry in a wide variety, though supplies and ammunition will be limited. As a result, you’ll also need to employ stealth tactics in order to avoid encounters with the horrific experiments you’ll come across during the mission.
Shadow Project is currently in development for a 2026 release.
